Risby Church of England Voluntary Controlled Primary School is a mixed school for children aged between 4 and 11 years serving the village of Risby and surrounding areas. We are an inclusive school with a commitment to equality and achievement for all and have achieved the International School Award for our commitment to global education.
We are proud of the ethos of our school and the opportunities and achievements we offer our children; the curriculum, the quality of teaching and learning, the wide range of enrichment activities provided and the academic results.
The governing body takes an active interest in the school and supports the school's strategic direction.
Parents are engaged with their children's learning and are incredibly supportive, some helping regularly in the school and others playing an active role in the Parent Teacher Association. They work in partnership with the staff and school council to help to improve the school and to ensure the provision of a broad and balanced education for the children.
Through the close partnership between parents, governors and staff we aim to give the children a positive experience of learning which will enable them to develop to their full potential.
This website can only give you a small idea of what we try to achieve and so we would encourage you to visit the school and see us in action. Visitors are always welcome and our children will be absolutely delighted to meet you.
